I always love the start of a new year, I look forward to the idea of a “fresh start” and always find myself setting goals at this time of year.
This year I didn’t have a word jump out at me, one may still, but for time time being I decided to create a list of goals for the year.
Side note: how cute is this alpaca pillow I got from my friend for Christmas?!
This year my goal list includes a lot of little tweaks.
I want to listen to people more and to keep my calendar fairly clear so I can be available when people need.
I want to eat better so I feel better.
I want to be a more calm and patient mother and enjoy each day.
I want to take better photos, aka get back into using my DSLR after grabbing my phone too much in the last few years.
I want to read some good classic books (I’ve chosen C.S. Lewis as my literary mentor for the year).
And I want to get back into writing in this space. I’m hoping to share some helpful posts here in the next few weeks!

Planner supplies details:
- a weekly planner from Dollarama (though I am looking into the Happy Planner, anyone use one? I’d love to hear your thoughts!)
- stamps are from Artist Gather (love them, though they do turn out better when you aren’t trying to stamp them into your new planner while you are lying in bed . . . #mybad)
- stickers were a Christmas gift from my mom (she knows me 🙂 ) but I’m pretty sure they are from Michael’s
