gifts that give back

What if when you gave a gift it gave joy to not only the one receiving it, but also someone on the other side of the world?

I’ve compiled a few ideas, unfortunately I want everything on the list. Here are a few ideas of gifts that give back:

BringLove.In

100% of the proceeds from each sale go directly to support the work that Bring Love In is doing in Ethiopia, meaning you can both look great and help create new families from widows and orphans at the same time!

Change the World

Every year at this time it hits me at how off the mark we are with Christmas.

The billions of dollars that are spent throughout North America on gifts that aren’t necessary.

Sometimes this world disgusts me.

This year as we were buying more toys for Raeca it really struck me. She has enough toys as it is -she’s only one, how many toys can she play with at one time? Why am I buying her more toys when there are children around here and in other countries that don’t even have food? Or when more than 26,000 children under the age of 5 die per day from preventable diseases or treatable causes?

Sometimes I disgust myself.

Last night I told Jared that I want to change the world -and I was serious.

The first step in changing the world is to changing myself.

This is my journey.

Chantel
