?? months waiting

I now officially have no idea where we are on the wait list. Yesterday we got some emails from our agency with conflicting information from what I thought. I knew it was just a matter of time before something like this happened, it’s all been going so smooth until now (I’m not really a pessimist but from all my reading it seems like every adoption hits a hiccup -or a dozen- along the way). I think we got it mostly straightened out through a flurry of emails back and forth but it appears we might be on the wait list a month later than I thought. Making this month 5 -again.

On a more positive note, I do know that our dossier was being translated into French a little while ago. That includes all our documents like our homestudy, criminal record checks, medical checks, finger prints, TB test results, etc, etc, etc. So at least some things are moving a long.

That’s pretty much all I have to report for this month. I am planning on writing a FAQ post on questions we get asked a lot -does any have a question about our adoption or adoption in general that they would like answered? If you ask I’ll try my best to answer it.

I read a post this morning called both/and NOT either/or, it has a great list of things you can do even if adoption is not on your radar right now, I would suggest taking a look at it. It has even given me a couple of ideas.

with love,
Chantel
