Ordinary people all over are standing up and changing the world.
Watching this video creates a wave of different emotions in me; sadness to see such brutal living conditions but also joy to see the beautiful transformations that are occurring. All because some people were willing to follow God’s call on their lives.
Every year at this time it hits me at how off the mark we are with Christmas.
The billions of dollars that are spent throughout North America on gifts that aren’t necessary.
Sometimes this world disgusts me.
This year as we were buying more toys for Raeca it really struck me. She has enough toys as it is -she’s only one, how many toys can she play with at one time? Why am I buying her more toys when there are children around here and in other countries that don’t even have food? Or when more than 26,000 children under the age of 5 die per day from preventable diseases or treatable causes?
Sometimes I disgust myself.
Last night I told Jared that I want to change the world -and I was serious.
The first step in changing the world is to changing myself.
