three months waiting

Last week was month three on our agency’s wait list. There isn’t really anything new to report from last month, and there probably won’t be anything new until we get our referral but I still like making a point of noting the day. It reminds me of when I was pregnant with Raeca and constantly figuring out how many weeks along I was. I find it gives me something to do during the wait.

Amazingly, the last 3 months have gone by quickly. I know the busy summer has had a lot to do with that, and I have a feeling time will drag on once winter comes. Judging by how the wait list has been moving thus far we are hoping to get our referral at the end of winter/beginning of spring. But there is always hope it will be earlier. 🙂

with love,
Chantel

    Here We Go!

It’s airplane day (as Raeca would say)! This afternoon we start our 36 hour journey from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Durban, South Africa. (Actually, if you count our travel to the airport and time spent waiting for our first flight it will be a 40 hour journey.) We are set to arrive in Durban at 12:05pm…
