eight months waiting

Another month has come and gone.

One month closer to that elusive referral.

I really don’t have much to report for the month. I didn’t update in December because things didn’t seem to be moving. It doesn’t sound like we are much closer now either.

On the bright side, we’ve been connected with yet another Saskatchewan couple adopting from the DRC. We have hopes of having in-person get-togethers as well as forming an online community for SK couples with kids from the DRC. If you or anyone you know fits this criteria let me know, we would love to connect with more people!

Well, that’s a pretty pathetic update but it is what it is. Maybe next month will be more exciting.

with love,
Chantel

This Sunday marks six months of Ephraim being a Klassen! It’s crazy to think that six months ago we were arriving in South Africa and hadn’t even met him yet and now it’s like he’s been a part of our family forever. Ephraim has been adjusting so well. If you talk to anyone about adoption for…
