five months waiting

Yes, five months waiting, that’s five months closer to our little one(s). I talked to our contact person at our adoption agency today and it sounds like things are still moving at the same rate as the last few months. If this rate continues we should have our referral by late winter/early spring. I feel torn over that news. In some ways I am really wishing it would come sooner and then I’ve got reasons that I want the referral to come at that time of year. I guess that means it’s a win-win (unless it comes way later).

We have been keeping busy until now but I see things slowing down a lot soon (though I say that all the time and it never seems to happen). I am thankful to have the opportunity to work a few days this week, fill some Once Was Lost orders and spend some time relaxing with my family.
