chugging along

Hey guys, I’m excited to say that we are almost done getting our dossier together! We are waiting for one reference, need to get some passport photos taken (doing it this weekend), get all our papers notarized (also this weekend) and  have one final home study meeting! When I write it out it still seems like a lot but considering what we have already done this is nothing.

I was talking to our contact at our adoption agency today and she told me to let her know when we send the paperwork and dossier fee so she can put us on the waitlist! I was excited to read that because for some reason I was thinking it was going to be a long time before we got on the waitlist but it could be just a matter of weeks!

It’s still a long road but at least we are moving.

with love,
Chantel

Well, we made it home! We are finally spending Christmas with this little guy. The one we’ve been praying for long before he was even born. I mentioned on Instagram that he didn’t know it but he is home, but truthfully, I think he does know it. He is so happy to be here, yesterday…

    Ephraim Klassen

November 17th was court day. We got to the home early and got to meet Tracy (the Newcastle social worker). Then the workers all said their goodbyes. One of them really teared up when she said goodbye to Ephraim, he’s been there since he came out of the hospital at 2 months old and you…
